The Cute Koala was voted the school’s mascot as part of the 80th Anniversarycelebration in December of 1999. The students in chose their ten most favorite animals. Out of these animals, koala was voted the overall favorite among students. The koala mother carrying a baby quickly became school’s identification and today greets students as part of the welcome signage, used on sports outfits and in other school decorations.
